Bovingdon man Mark Fagence denies killing Watford's Mark Hopkinson

A 49-year-old man from Hertfordshire has denied killing a Watford man found at a house in Borehamwood last year.

Mark Fagence, of Apple Cottages, Bovingdon, pleaded not guilty at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, to the murder of Mark Hopkinson, 36.

The victim was found at a property in Theobald Street on 6 November and died later in Barnet hospital.

Mr Fagence, who was remanded in custody, is due to stand trial at the same court on 16 September.
