Man held over Luton 'car crash' shooting
A man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder over the shooting of a man in Luton.
A 27-year-old was fired at when he remonstrated with another driver after a crash on Monday morning.
He suffered a serious leg injury and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, police said.
The arrested man is in his 20s and is also due to be questioned on suspicion of threats to kill, arson and criminal damage.
The shooting near the the Leicester Arms pub at the junction of Leicester Road and Dunstable Road is the 10th in Luton this year but is not being linked to other incidents, police said.
They described it as a "targeted" attack.
