Teenager hurt in Luton bus air gun shooting
A teenager has been injured after shots from an air gun were fired at a bus she was travelling on in Luton.
The 15-year-old girl was hit by flying glass from windows, which were were smashed by BB pellets on Tuesday.
Following the incident in Wenlock Street at 14:30 GMT, she was treated at the town's NHS walk in centre.
Police said three or four white teenagers seen leaning out of an upstairs window in Berkley Path at the time may be able to help the inquiry.
Officers have appealed for help to identify the youngsters, who are described as aged between 15 and 17 and wearing hooded tops.
PC Steve Mosley said: "Luckily the young girl does not appear to have been seriously injured at this time but this could have ended up with her losing her sight and other people could also have been seriously injured."
