Cheshunt man and Waltham Cross woman found dead by police

A man and a woman have been found dead at a property in Hertfordshire, police have said.

Officers were called to an address on Great Cambridge Road, Cheshunt, at about 18:30 GMT on Friday by the ambulance service.

They found the bodies of a man aged 72, who lived at the address, and a 57-year-old woman from Waltham Cross.

Police described it as a "this tragic incident" but have not released any further details.

DCI Jon Hutchinson from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit, who is leading the investigation said: "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident however we can confirm that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with it."
