Olney residential home carers charged with neglect

Two carers at a residential home in Buckinghamshire have been charged with neglect.

Henrietta Offae, 41, and Titlayo Ajala, 55, have each been charged with 19 counts of wilfully neglecting a person without capacity.

The charges relate to alleged incidents at Westlands residential home in High Street, Olney, between 18 and 19 August 2011, where the women worked.

The women will appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on 18 December 2012.

Ms Offae has also been charged with possessing an identity card for use of a passport to gain employment.

The charges followed a joint investigation involving Thames Valley Police, social services and senior managers at the home.
