Scarborough man charged over sex crime in Hertfordshire

A 41-year-old man has been charged with a sex offence against a young child in Hertfordshire in 2006 or 2007.

Daniel Borgers, of Napier Crescent, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, has been charged with sexual touching of a child under 13 years old.

Mr Borgers was charged in Scarborough on Wednesday by detectives from the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire major crime unit.

He is on bail to appear before Bedford magistrates on 18 September 2012.
