Dog walker stabbed by topless man in Buckinghamshire park

A 61-year-old woman has been stabbed by a topless man while walking her dog in a Buckinghamshire park.

The woman was in Pitt Green, Linden Village, on Saturday afternoon when a man in jogging bottoms emerged from a hedge and stabbed her in the arm.

The woman was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital for treatment but was later discharged.

Police say it was a "completely unprovoked attack" and are looking for a white man in his 20s.

Det Sgt Pete Collett, of Thames Valley Police, said the attack "left the victim deeply shocked, although fortunately not too seriously injured".

He said the knife used in the assault had been recovered and a full investigation was under way.
