Woman dies in 'wrong way' A40 crash in Buckinghamshire

A woman has died in a crash after apparently driving the wrong way on a dual carriageway in Buckinghamshire.

A Peugeot 205 collided with a VW Golf on the A40 near Denham at 04:40 BST.

The driver of the Peugeot, an elderly woman from Surrey, died at the scene. A man in his 30s, who was driving the Golf, is in hospital, police said.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Thames Valley Police said they believed the Peugeot was driving the wrong way.
