Ex-scout leader Robert Major suspected of more child abuse
An ex-scout leader jailed for 14 years for sexually assaulting three children from one family is being investigated over further crimes in Buckinghamshire.
Police also believe Robert Major, 63, who lived in Leighton Buzzard, committed sexual offences against children in Bedfordshire.
Detectives are appealing for people who may have been affected to come forward.
Major also had a flat in Aylesbury in the 1990s and schoolboy visitors were given alcohol, cigarettes and money.
Police said they had interviewed a number of men during their investigation but none was willing to give evidence in court.
In their two-year investigation police said they spoke to dozens of men, who they believe Major attacked over a period of decades.
He was found guilty at Amersham Crown Court in Buckinghamshire on Wednesday of 12 charges of indecent assault, four indecency charges and one of a serious sexual assault against a father, his son and his cousin.
