Ex-Caldicott school teaching assistant on sex charges

A former teaching assistant has been charged with sexual offences, dating back to 1979, against two boys at a Buckinghamshire school.

John Addrison, 52, of Datchet Road, Slough, Berkshire, worked at Caldicott Preparatory School in Farnham Royal.

He has been charged with three counts of indecent assault on a child under 16 and one count of gross indecency with a child under 14.

He has been bailed to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on 15 May.

The offences are alleged to have been committed between 1979 and 1981.

Police said their investigation is continuing and if anyone has information or concerns relevant to the inquiry should contact Det Sgt Joe Banfield.
