Milton Keynes athletics coach nominated for 'unsung' award

An athletics coach from Buckinghamshire has been nominated as the region's Unsung Hero in this year's BBC East Sports Awards.

Rick Townsend, of Milton Keynes Athletics Club, said he gets as much out of coaching as he did out of the sport itself.

This year's Unsung Hero will be revealed at the BBC East Sports Awards night in Bedford on 8 December.
