Martyn Berry, from Middlesbrough, a successful head in the north east of England, was recruited by Holbrook High School near Ipswich.

He was accused of five sex offences and at Ipswich Crown Court pleaded guilty to one charge from 2012.

He was sentenced to 22 months in jail suspended for two years.

He pleaded guilty to a sex assault on a girl which happened between 1 November and 20 December 2012.
