A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over the death of his climbing partner, who fell from cliffs in North Yorkshire.
The 51-year-old man fell at Kettleness Point near Runswick Bay, north of Whitby, on Friday morning.
He was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, where he was pronounced dead.
North Yorkshire Police said a man in his 20s from the Whitby area had been arrested and bailed.
They are appealing for people who were in the area from about 10:45 BST on Friday to contact them.
