A man arrested on suspicion of murdering a student who died following an attack in Sheffield has been released on bail.

Anowar Tagabo, 25, a student at the University of Bradford, was assaulted outside a nightclub on Carver Street on 25 May. He died in hospital nine days later.

A post-mortem examination revealed he had suffered a head injury.

A 24-year-old man was bailed pending further inquiries, police said.

Mr Tagabo, originally from Sudan, was studying peace and development.
