A sex offender who went on the run after pleading guilty to causing or inciting an underage girl to engage in sexual activity has been arrested.

James Dunham, 34, absconded from Lewes Crown Court in East Sussex on 9 January 2013 after admitting the charge.

Dunham, a landscape gardener from Eastbourne, was given bail and told to remain in the court building in Hove to discuss the case with his solicitor.

He was arrested at an address in Lydd in Kent on Friday, Sussex Police said.
