Nottinghamshire lorry driver dies in Lincoln crash

A 41-year-old Nottinghamshire man has died in hospital after three vehicles crashed in Lincoln.

The crash happened on the A46 bypass on Friday and involved a car, a lorry and a car towing a caravan.

Brent Waterhouse, from Skegby, Sutton-In-Ashfield, the driver of the lorry, was air lifted to Lincoln County Hospital with serious injuries, but later died.

People in a Peugeot 407 and a Fiat 500 were treated for minor injuries.

A section of the A46 was closed while officers carried out an investigation.
