Brass band struggling to survive

Members of an historic Teesside brass band say they will be forced to split up unless they can recruit new members.

South Bank Brass Band has been going for 150 years in Middlesbrough but in recent years membership has dwindled from 25 to just 13.

Tenor horn player Frank Bowman said members had either passed away, moved away or lost interest.

Now the band will have to disband if it cannot attract new musicians. Look North's Phil Chapman reports.
