Police arrest man over attempted murder in Gorleston

A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder two weeks after a man was found with serious head injuries near Great Yarmouth.

The victim, 45, was discovered in a house in Springfield Road, Gorleston, in the early hours of 4 February.

Police said he is still in a critical condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

The man being questioned by detectives is from the Lowestoft area but police have released no further details.
