Oxford B480 crash: Driver arrested over cyclist's death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a cyclist was killed.

The rider and Nissan Micra collided on the B480 Watlington Road at the junction with Garsington Road in Cowley, Oxford, in the early hours.

The cyclist died at the scene. The road between Grenoble Road and Pettiwell has been shut but was due to reopen soon.

The Micra driver, a 39-year-old man from Reading, is being questioned by officers.
