Canons Ashby plane crash survivor 'emotional'

A pilot who suffered serious injuries in a light aircraft crash has said he may never fly again.

Henley-on-Thames businessman Giles English and his 11-year-old godson were both treated in hospital in August after their Gipsy Moth aircraft crash landed at Canons Ashby House.

Mr English, whose father died in a separate plane crash, is planning to restore the wrecked 1930s biplane.

But he said piloting an aircraft again would be "emotionally quite hard to take".
