A charity chief executive who defrauded a nature trust of more than £700,000 has had his jail term extended after failing to pay back money he owed.

Dennis Grant, 66, of Banbury, Oxfordshire, was jailed for four years and four months in 2011 for stealing cash from the Cotswold Water Park.

In November 2012 a judge told him to repay £318,950 within a year, under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

He failed to pay £305,000 and was given an additional 1,237 days behind bars.

The original offences occurred between November 2006 and January 2009.
