Sidmouth taps dry up in reservoir problems

People living in a Devon seaside town are without water supplies after "problems" at a reservoir.

Sidmouth residents complained to South West Water that they were without water at about 17:30 GMT.

A spokesman apologised to customers affected by the disruption to their water supplies, but was unable to say how many households had been hit.

He said: "Our technicians are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible."
