Biker death in Bolton: Lorry driver on careless driving charge

A lorry driver has been charged over the death of a motorcyclist in Greater Manchester.

Michael Stockton, 59, of St Helens, Merseyside, was in collision with a HGV on Bradford Road, Bolton, on 5 September.

Andrew Patton, 32, of Holyoake Road, Worsley, is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court later accused of causing death by careless driving.

Mr Stockton's family said he was on his way to work at the time of the crash.
