New Year's Honours for the south of England

Almost 12,000 people have received New Year Honours, including dozens across the south of England.

Hampshire boxing coach Quinton Shillingford has become an MBE, along with a West Sussex fundraiser William Leslie Weller who has played a major part in the restoration of Chichester Cathedral.

Husband and wife Graham and Pauline Evans, who helped establish an Oxfordshire branch of Save the Children in 1973, have been given British Empire Medals.
