Storms flood South East homes and cut power

Homes were left flooded and tens of thousands of people were left without power after 80mph winds and torrential rain hit the South East.

Train services were severely disrupted, fallen trees blocked roads and a power failure at Gatwick Airport delay caused check-in delays.

At Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey, planes were tossed over and submerged.

Three west Kent residents talked to BBC reporter Jon Hunt - Maggie Osbourne, Peter Luke and Peter Toope.
