A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man found with head injuries in a stairwell in Norfolk.

Paulius Jakovlevas, 38, was found dead at flats in Wellesley Road, Great Yarmouth, on Monday.

On Thursday morning officers arrested a 40-year-old woman from the Peterborough area.

Police said she would be transferred to Norfolk for questioning. A man in his late 30s was arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday.

The man, also from the Peterborough area, remains in custody.

Det Insp Andy Guy from the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team, said: "I am encouraged by the response we have received so far to our appeals.

"I would ask that people continue to contact us with any information regarding the investigation."
