M6 fatal crash victim named as Paul Ross

A driver killed in a crash on the M6 in south Cumbria has been named.

Paul Ross, from North Shields, was driving a Ford S MAX which was involved in a collision with a Fiat Fiorino van on the northbound carriageway on Monday morning.

The 42-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene at Lowgill, near Greyrigg.

The van driver, a 45-year-old man from Merseyside, was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
