Man charged after girl sexually assaulted on bus

A man has been charged after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a bus travelling between Surrey and Sussex.

The 17-year-old was travelling on the number 400 service between Caterham and Crawley on 23 August when she was attacked.

A 54-year-old man from Caterham has been charged with sexual assault, Surrey Police said.

He was released on bail and is due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates' Court on 22 October.
