Two men have been charged with serious sexual offences at two former schools in Norfolk and Lincolnshire.

Brian Greenhalgh, 63, of Suffield, Norfolk and Ken Wells, 76, of Bracken Dale, Leicester, were charged with offences against boys under 16.

Police said the charges related to offences in the 1970s and 1980s at Sheringham Court School, Norfolk and Thurlby Manor School, Lincolnshire.

Both men will appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on 18 October.

Six offences, including gross indecency and indecent assault, are related to Mr Greenhalgh, who remains in custody.

Mr Wells, who was charged with one offence of gross indecency, has been released on bail.
