Claire Tiltman 1993 murder inquiry centres on Stone house

12 September 2013 Last updated at 20:33 BST

Police investigating the murder of a schoolgirl in Kent 20 years ago have started searching the former home of a man convicted of attempted murder.

The house in Myrtle Place, Stone, near Dartford, used to be the home of Colin Ash-Smith, who was jailed in 1997.

Claire Tiltman had just turned 16 when she was attacked as she walked down an alleyway close to her home in Greenhithe in 1993.
