Serious crash closes M4 between Swindon and Hungerford

Two people have been seriously injured in a crash involving two cars and a lorry which closed the M4 motorway.

The eastbound carriageway was shut from junction 15 for east Swindon and junction 14 for Hungerford after the collision at about 05:30 BST.

Tailbacks of up to 13 miles were reported by the Highways Agency but all lanes have now reopened.

A woman and another person have been taken to hospital for treatment.
