Biggleswade Asda car park death suspect charged

A man has been charged with killing a 64-year-old man who died following an argument in an Asda car park.

Alan Watts, 65, of Lindsell Crescent, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, is accused of the manslaughter of Brian Holmes, from Sandy.

Mr Holmes suffered a fatal head injury after getting into a disagreement in the supermarket's disabled parking area on 3 August.

Mr Watts has been bailed to appear at Bedford Magistrates Court on 13 August.

The victim died at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on 4 August.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
