Two men have denied endangering an aircraft, which was diverted to Stansted airport in May.

Taxi driver Tayyab Subhani, 30, and restaurant worker Mohammed Safdar, 41, both of Nelson in Lancashire appeared earlier at Chelmsford Crown Court.

They were on a Pakistan International Airways flight originally bound for Manchester Airport when the alleged incident took place.

The case has been adjourned until November for trial.
