Overhead wire problems caused major disruption for rail passengers in Hertfordshire wanting to travel to London or Stansted Airport in Essex.

Greater Anglia did not run between London Liverpool Street and Bishops Stortford/Hertford East due to problems at Cheshunt on Friday morning.

The Stansted Express was also suspended.

All lines are now open, but some trains could be delayed by up to 20 minutes until 15:30 BST, train operators said.
