Man arrested over travel agent robberies

A man suspected of carrying out a string of robberies since the end of April has been arrested by police.

Lyndon Stein, 49, who was wanted for questioning over a number of travel agents and building societies across England, is being held in custody.

Police are questioning him about raids in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Oxford.

Avon and Somerset Police had earlier issued an appeal for information on Mr Stein's whereabouts.
