Xhem Krasniqi Xhem Krasniqi suffered a single bullet wound and died later in hospital

A man has been arrested on suspicion of plotting the murder of a man who was shot dead in Hove.

Officers arrested the 34-year-old after he flew into Gatwick Airport on Sunday, a spokesman said.

Sussex Police said the Brighton man was being questioned over the death of Kent scaffolder Xhem Krasniqi.

Mr Krasniqi was with his brother and nephew when they were shot at in Church Road on 18 May.

He suffered a single bullet wound and died later in hospital.

Police believe the incident followed a dispute between two Albanian families.
