Seven sections of the A69 across Cumbria, Northumberland and Newcastle are to be closed overnight for seven weeks for resurfacing work.

The Highways Agency will be carrying out work at several locations from West Denton in Newcastle to Warwick Bank in Cumbria.

Diversions will be in place and speed limits will be in operation while the work is under way.
