Shrewsbury v Walsall violence: Twelve in court

Another 12 people have appeared in court in connection with violence before a League One match between Shrewsbury Town and Walsall.

The disorder, which broke out in Shrewsbury town centre on 14 October, led to three police officers being injured.

Twenty-nine men and youths were charged in total.

The 12, who appeared before magistrates in Shrewsbury, are due to appear again before the court on 27 June.

The other 17 are due to appear on 24 June.
