Teesside and Greater Manchester arrests over drugs

Twenty four people have been arrested on Teesside and Greater Manchester as part of an investigation into drug dealing.
Police said heads of organised crime gangs were targeted in the dawn raids, during which 12 people on Teesside were held and drugs and cash seized.
The operation with Greater Manchester Police, involving 320 officers, also resulted in 12 arrests in that area.
All 24 are being held on suspicion of drugs-related offences.
