Leicester teenager arrested after man injured

A teenager has been arrested after a 44-year-old man was left with life-threatening head injuries in Leicester city centre.

The man, who was walking a rottweiler dog, fell to the ground after a dispute with a member of a group of youths on King Street on Wednesday.

Police said a 19-year-old man had been released on bail.

They also said the victim remained in a critical condition at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
