Two tier schooling plan for Suffolk: good or bad?

As Suffolk seeks to abolish its middle schools, a Northampton head teacher describes what happened when they did it.

Northamptonshire began the change from three-tier to two-tier schooling more than a decade ago.

Kay Gerrett, the head of Cedar Road Primary, in Northampton, said it made a difference to pupils, helping to make them more independent.
