Hospital robot helps with operations in Devon
A robot is helping to carry out surgery at a hospital in Devon.
Managers say it will save hundreds of patients from having to travel out of the South West of England.
The keyhole surgery technology, which cost the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital £2.5m, will allow a speedier recovery for patients who were suffering from prostate cancer, doctors said.
The robot will help carry out up to 200 operations a year.
