i54 business park area developed

Help

An area of land on the Staffordshire-Wolverhampton border continues to be developed for the i54 business park.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is building a £350m plant on the site, which will create up to 750 jobs.

The plant director for JLR, Ken Close, said: "As part of the sourcing strategy we're looking for as many UK suppliers as possible. That process is still ongoing.

"A good example is we've got a supplier in the West Midlands supplying one of our high precision components for the engine."
