A teenager has been charged after the Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Jordan Archer was attacked in the closing stages of a match against Gillingham.
The incident happened during the League 2 fixture at the Priestfield Stadium on Monday.
The 17-year-old from Rochester has been charged with common assault and Section 4 of the Football Offences Act.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on 12 March.
The player did not receive treatment and carried on for the remaining few seconds of the match.
