Sidcup restaurant fire forces 21 to flee
People living in flats above a restaurant in south-east London were forced to leave their homes when fire engulfed the building.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said 21 people had left the premises in St James Way, Sidcup, before they arrived at 04:30 GMT.
Eight fire engines were sent to the scene and crews took about two hours to bring the blaze under control.
No-one is thought to have been injured in the fire.
An LFB spokeswoman said 21 people had "self evacuated" from the property, adding: "All persons were accounted for".
LFB said two floors of the three-storey building were damaged.
