Spill of tons of rubbish closes A12 near Chelmsford

A lorry overturned on the A12 near Chelmsford, spilling 20 tonnes of rubbish across the road and closing the northbound carriageway.

The lorry driver had to be cut free from his cab but was not seriously injured.
