Norfolk man Matthew Stevenson to face Greek trial
A hospital worker from Norfolk involved in a road accident in Greece nearly five years ago has been told he is to be prosecuted.
Matthew Stevenson first heard about the trial over an accident which left a motorcyclist with a broken leg after his wife, Sandra, received a summons to be a witness.
Weeks later he received a letter in Greek which said he was slated to appear in court in May.
Mr Stevenson, who works as an operating theatre orderly at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, said he would have to defend himself as he cannot afford a lawyer.
