Snow has been falling across the East Midlands with the heaviest in Nottingham and across the Pennines.
Snow also fell across Lincolnshire in villages including Upton, near Gainsborough. There have been no reports of any traffic problems.
Snow fell heavily in Ashbourne, in Derbyshire.

Children have been enjoying the snow in Bingham, Nottinghamshire.

A fountain continues to work despite the cold weather at Victoria Embankment in Nottingham.
Drivers in Newport, Lincoln faced snowy conditions on the roads.
Pedestrians also found conditions more of an uphill struggle in Lincoln.
