Red Arrows crash widow pays tribute to pilot Jon Egging
The widow of a Red Arrows pilot who died in a crash in Bournemouth has spoken after a verdict of accidental death was recorded at his inquest.
Jon Egging, 33, from Rutland, died when his Hawk T1 jet crashed following a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival in August last year.
The inquest heard he was probably close to unconsciousness before his plane crashed.
It heard he may have succumbed to G-force impairment before attempting to correct his course in the moments before the impact.
