The Met Office has issued an amber warning for heavy rain for the south west of England and is warning the public to be prepared for flooding.

The warning comes as the clean-up continues after Thursday's heavy rain and strong winds.

The Met Office is forecasting up to 40mm (1.6in) of rain to fall across the region in the coming hours.
